The Bursa Hospital Lobby was envisioned as a dynamic and visually engaging space, where structural expression and spatial fluidity come together to enhance the experience of visitors and patients. The circulation area serves as a key visual and functional element, providing an open field for creativity and interaction.
One of the defining features of the design is the set of towering columns that extend from the ground floor to the mezzanine level, seamlessly integrating with the building’s structural system. A gallery space connects the ground floor to the basement levels, further enhancing spatial continuity and visual connectivity.
The entire design follows a parametric flow, shaping not only the structural components but also the seating elements, benches, and lighting systems. Fluid surfaces wrap around the space, forming an organic shell that defines the interior. Unique, non-repetitive precast panels generate lighting surfaces, reinforcing the lobby’s immersive atmosphere. The marble flooring, designed with an algorithmic vortex pattern, dynamically expands and contracts, adding a sense of motion and depth.
Polyclinic and patient rooms prioritize natural daylight, ensuring a comforting and health-conscious atmosphere. Instead of isolated lighting fixtures, illumination is embedded within the structure itself, furthering the cohesive aesthetic. Counter solutions adopt soft, fluid forms that harmonize with the broader design language, emphasizing a human-centered approach.
Doruk Hospital Lobby exemplifies the power of parametric design in healthcare environments, offering both functionality and a visually compelling spatial experience.

Beyond the lobby, similar design principles are applied to hydrotherapy pools, where organic formations shape the environment. In waiting areas, biophilic design principles are maximized through interior gardens, fostering a sense of tranquility. The seating elements are seamlessly integrated into the space, reinforcing the holistic approach that defines the entire hospital interior.
